Yoga Nidra is a practice of deep rest, often called “yogic sleep.” In this guided meditation, you’ll recline in a fully supported Savasana while your body stays still and at ease. Meanwhile, your awareness gently drifts between waking and sleeping. This class is especially good for those of us who struggle with traditional meditation. If every time you slow down, your mind speeds up, Yoga Nidra is definitely a good fit for you - because the instructor talks nearly the whole time! Students typically report either falling asleep, losing track of the instructors voice OR connecting with the voice and therefore quieting the business of the mind. Yay!

We’ll begin with a few minutes of grounding and body and breath awareness before settling into Yoga Nidra. No yoga experience is needed. There’s no movement required. Just show up as you are, get comfortable, and let yourself be guided into rest.
