Yoga Nidra is the practice of deep rest—and while it’s often called “yogic sleep,” you’re actually guided into a restful, meditative state that hovers between waking and sleeping. The body stays completely still and relaxed in a restorative pose while the mind gently moves through layers of awareness.
This practice helps release physical tension, quiet mental chatter, and reconnect you with a sense of inner calm and clarity. Sleep, rest, and relaxation may seem like they're all the same, but they’re actually very different and our bodies need all three! Practices of Rest, like Yoga Nidra, are when we intentionally shift from doing to simply being—from activity into recovery.
In this workshop with Laura, we'll start with a few minutes of gentle breathing to help you land and settle in. Then you’ll ease into a fully supported Savasana where you'll be guided through a traditional Yoga Nidra meditation.
